4 egg whites
2/3 cup sugar
4 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp almond extract
4 cups coconut
dash of salt
maraschino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites lightly. Add sugar, flour, salt & almond extract; blend well. Stir in coconut. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart onto greased and lightly floured cookie sheet.

Bake at 325 degrees for 13-17 minutes or until set or lightly browned

Optional: Before baking place half of a maraschino cherry in center of each cookie
