2 egg whites, beaten 1 T. sugar 2 egg yolks 1 c. flour 2/3 c. milk 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt
Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff, set aside. Beat other ingredients together then fold in whites. Cut bread into triangular halves. Dip each half in the batter and fry in 1" of oil. Serve ith butter and syrup or powdered sugar
