1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1-tablespoon alum
add 2 cups boiling water
stir in food coloring, quite a bit

mix in 2-1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Knead. Add almond or peppermint flavorings gives a nice smell but not necessary. Store in airtight container or plastic bag in fridge. If a child eats it by mistake, or parents presume it is by mistake no harm done, all ingredients edible.
