3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup hot water
few drop red food coloring
small box strawberry jello
1 quart strawberries
crust

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, water, food color and cornstarch in a sauce pan. Boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 3 tablespoons strawberry jello and 2 tablespoon butter. Let it cool completely.
Cut strawberries in half's or quarters. Coat berries with jell. Place in baked crust. Add a dollop of whipping cream or cool whip when ready to serve.
