Ingredients:
Ingredients:
8 slices white bread, cubed
1 lb cheese, grated: use 2 kinds to make up 1 lb (i.e. cheddar, swiss, gruyere, mozzarella, etc)
1 lb cooked meat: ham, sausage, bacon (crumbled or cubed - use combo if you'd like)

6 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
1/2 c. half and half

1 stick butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
1. Scatter pieces of bread into the bottom of a large, greased baking dish (9x13 casserole works great). Drizzle melted butter over the bread.

2. Layer the meat and cheese over the bread.

3. Mix together eggs, milk and cream and pour together over the bread, meat and cheese mixture.

4. Bake at 300 for 60-90 minutes (depending on the oven). After 1 hour, check its progress - if the center is cooked, it's done. Add additional shredded cheese over the top to melt.
