1 large can pork & beans
1 lb hamburger
1 small onion diced small
2 tbs ketchup
1 tbs mustard (prepared)
sprinkle of brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown hamburger in sauce pan and drain when cooked.
2. Add onion ( be sure it is diced very small so no one who does not like onion can tell) to Hamburg.
3. Add the rest of ingredients and heat well.
4. Serve on hamburger buns, toast or any other bread hanging around.

I was dared to put this one in! This is a depression recipe to feed lots of mouths when there was little money for food. I and some of my siblings ate this often along with goulash, sloppy joes, pancakes and tuna noodle casserole.
