Ingredients:  
1 lb. stew meat, cubed
2 onions, chopped
4-5 carrots, chopped
3-4 potatoes, diced or noodles may be substituted
5 c. water
5 T. L>B> Jamison's Beef Soup Base (Hy Vee)
a few peppercorns
1 small can tomato sauce
Optional: mixed vegetables, peas, barley, or cabbage
(add more water and soup base if more ingredients are added)

Directions:

Brown meat, and onion. Add rest of ingredients and water.
Cook on low 10 - 12 hours.
