1 T unsalted butter
2T minced shallots
3 T dry vermouth or white wine
1 cup cream
8 oz. cream cheese cut in small cubes at room temp
1 cup cheddar cheese shreds
lb. crab meat ( millers canned works well)
2 T lemon juice
2 t Dijon mustard
1 t. Worcestershire
t old bay seasoning
Hot pepper sauce to taste

Melt butter, add shallots and vermouth and boil. Add cream and simmer. Whisk in cream cheese and stir in cheddar. Add remaining ingredients and enjoy.
