1 cup sugar 1/2 cup light karo Place in 2 quart bowl and microwave on high 4 minutes. Stir in 1 cup peanuts. Microwave on high 3-5 minutes until light brown. Add 1 tablespoon butter & 1 tsp vanilla. Stir and microwave 90 seconds. Stir in 1 tsp baking soda. This will make it foamy.
Pour quickly into lightly buttered cookie sheet. Cool 30-60 minutes. Then break into chunks.
