1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup milk
1 1/3 cup flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, add sugar and liquid ingredients.
Mix well, add dry ingredients.
Fry in shortening 2 minutes on each side at about 375.

My mom use to make these all the time. She would fill a bag with sugar and let me shake the donuts.
