3 cup sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup cold water 2 egg whites 1 tsp vanilla
Dissolve sugar, syrup and water. Cook until soft-ball. Beat egg whites until stiff. Pour 1/2 of the syrup into egg whites while beating. Cook remaining syrup to hard crack. Add to egg whites and add vanilla. Beat until thick. Spoon onto wax paper.
