1 1/2 C. Sugar
3 T. quick cooking tapioca
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 pound rhubarb, cut into 1/2 inch pieces (3 cups)
1 C. quartered fresh strawberries
2 9 inch pie crusts
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1 C. sugar, 3 T. quick-cooking tapioca, tsp. salt, and tsp nutmeg. In a larger bowl, combine 1 pound rhubarb, cut into inch pieces (3 cups) and 1 cup quartered fresh strawberries. Pour dry mixture over fruit and let stand 20 minutes.

Prepare pastry for 9 inch double pie crust. Pour fruit mixture in shell, dot with 2 T. butter, top with crust and bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes, or until filling begins to bubble.
