6 T. sugar
C. water
1 T. corn starch
3-4 egg whites (room temp.)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugar, corn starch, and water to a boil until thickened. Cool. Beat egg whites until frothy or foamy. Slowly add cooled mixture to egg mixture, mixing until combined. Beat at high speed for five minutes or until stiff peaks are made. Spread meringue on pie and seal to the edges of the crust. Bake at 450 degrees for 6-7 minutes or until browned.
