3 T. corn starch
1 C. sugar
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
tsp. cinnamon
tsp. salt
1 C. sour cream
C. + 1 T. buttermilk
2 egg yolks, beaten
C. raisins
1 T. lemon juice
9 inch baked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Combine corn starch, sugar, spices, and salt in sauce pan. Combine buttermilk and sour cream. In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks. Measure out raisins and lemon juice prior to cooking filling. Add buttermilk and sour cream mixture to dry ingredients and stir constantly over medium-high heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Boil two minutes. Remove from heat and ladle a moderate amount of cooked mixture into beaten egg yolks, stirring constantly. Pour egg mixture back into sauce pan and bring back to a full boil, stirring constantly. Cook one minute more. Remove from heat and add lemon juice and raisins. Pour filling into cooked pie shell and top with meringue.
