2 lbs. frozen hashbrowns, partially thawed
1/2 c. grated onion
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1 pint sour cream (2 cups)
2 c. grated cheese, mild cheddar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Put in 13X9X1 inch greased baking dish.
Topping: 2 c. crushed corn flakes and 1/4 c. butter. Toss the corn flakes in the melted butter and sprinkle on top of mixture. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
