12 egg whites
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tarter
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour 5 times. Beat egg whites until frothy. Add salt, beat a little more. Add cream of tarter. Beat until you can turn the bowl upside down without losing contents. Fold in sugar. Add vanilla and flour. Bake at 325 for 50 minutes on bottom rack in oven in a ungreased angle food cake pan. Invert to cool before removing from pan.
