!/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
cherries
3 eggs
1 c. granulated sugar
5 T. pineapple juice
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in round pan. Add brown sugar and spread evenly over bottom. Lay complete wheel of pineapple in center. Put cherry in center. Place half wheels in a circle around center wheel. Decorate with more cherries, if desired. For sponge batter, beat YOKES of 3 eggs. Add granulated sugar & juice. Sift flour & baking powder, add to yolk mixture. Beat 3 egg WHITES until stiff. Fold into batter. Pour all over fruit. Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes. Flip cake onto serving dish as soon as cake comes out of oven.
