1-2 c. chopped, cooked chicken or turkey 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 soup can of milk 1/2 - 1 c. light sour cream 1-2 T butter or margarine 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped celery 1/4 c. each chopped red and green pepper sliced water chestnuts (optional) 1 can mushrooms (almost drained) 1/2 pkg. cooked Reams noodles, spaghetti or both 1/2 c or more asiago or Parmesan cheese
Saute vegetable in butter. Add soup, milk, sour cream and cheese. Mix until cheese melts. Add chicken. Add mixture to noodles. Put in greased casserole and sprinkle with additional cheese and some paprika. Bake at 350º for 30 to 40 minutes.
