4 eggs slightly beaten,
1 can pumpkin (1 lb.13 oz),
1 1/2 C sugar,
1 tsp salt,
2 tsp cinnamon,
1 tsp ginger,
1/2 tsp mace,
1 tsp nutmeg,
1/2 tsp cloves,
2 cans evaporated milk (12 oz size can),
1- 8" & 2-9" pie shells.

Preheat oven to 425.
Mix ingredients in order given. Pour into prepared pastry shells. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes. Then at 300 for 35 minutes or till set.

This was Auntie Jean's recipe, our family favorite. It makes 3 pies. I usually made my crusts from the Betty Crocker pie crust dry mix.
