Directions:
Directions:
Sift together 1 cup flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 3/4 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa.
Stir in 1/2 cup milk, 2 tablespoons melted shortening.
Spread in a 9 inch pan.
Mix 1/4 cup cocoa and 1 cup packed brown sugar together. Sprinkle over mixture in pan.
Pour over batter 1 3/4 cup hot water.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
