1 stick butter or margarine (melted)
1 egg
Butter cake mix

FILLING:
3 eggs
2/3 cup of cake batter
1 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix, butter or margarine and 1 egg together. Put in buttered 9 x 13 pan reserving 2/3 cup of batter for filling. Pat out the dough evenly in the pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and pour filling over top.
FILLING:
Mix all together and pour over cake layer. Increase oven temperature to 375. Bake another 20-25 minutes.
