2 c. raw cranberries, ground
3-4 c. miniature marshmallows
3/4 c. sugar
1-2 c. unpeeled tart apples, diced
1/2 c. walnuts, broken (opt)
1 c. whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cranberries, marshmallows and sugar. Cover and chill overnight,. Add apples and walnuts. Fold in whipped topping. Chill.

This is the salad that I like to make for Thanksgiving. I freeze the cranberries so that they grind up better in the food processor.
