7 sweet potatoes or yams
1 cup of orange juice
1/2 tsp. of grated orange rind
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbs. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1 medium sized casserole dish

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven at 375. Combine the orange juice, rind, water, sugar and salt. Peel the potatoes, cut in halves or thick slices. Arrange the potatoes in a buttered casserole dish and cover them with the above liquids. Dot the potatoes with butter, cover and bake for 60 to 75 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.
