1 can (29 ounce) pears
1 (3 oz) pkg strawberry or lime jello
1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 cup Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pears, reserving juice. Measure the juice: add water to equal 1 1/2 cups. Pour into pan and bring to boil. Add Jello until dissolved. Add cream cheese and whisk until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until it starts to thicken. Mash pears and add to mixture. Fold in Cool Whip. Refrigerate until set.
