1/4 c. of butter or margarine
1 14oz. can of eagle brand milk

Directions:
Preheat oven at 350. In a skillet, over medium heat, cook sugar (stirring constantly until the sugar melts and caramelizes. Pour the sugar into a 9" round pan, tilt to coat the bottom of the pan. In a medium bowl beat eggs, on low speed, then add the condensed sweetened milk, water, vanilla and salt. Pour on top of the caramelized sugar. Set the pan into a larger pan and add enough hot water to the outside pan to have 1 1/2 inch up the side of the inside pan. Bake in oven for 55 to 60 minutes. Remove the inside pan from the water pan and cool on a rack. When cool to touch, place a serving plate on top of the pan. Hold the plate tightly to the pan and flip it over as one unit, making it so the serving plate is on bottom. Remove the cake pan carefully. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
