3/4 C. sugar 1 C. butter 1 egg 1 tsp. almond flavoring 2 1/2 C. flour 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1. Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add egg and almond flavoring; beat well. 2. Mix flour, salt and baking powder together; add gradually to creamed mixture. 3. Put into cookie press and squeeze out onto ungreased cookie sheet. 4. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes or until beginning to brown around edges. Cool on wire rack.
