1 8 ounce pkg cream cheese 1/2 c. butter or margarine 1 16 ounce package of powdered sugar 1 t. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Beat cream cheese and butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Frost cake and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Enough for a 9 in by 13 in. cake.
