1 stick oleo (margarine) 3 eggs 1/2 cup Karo syrup 1 cup sugar 3 Tablespoons brown sugar 1 cup pecans (crushed) 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice pinch of salt
Brown oleo over medium heat. Beat eggs well and add other ingredients. Mix well. Sprinkle in pecans. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake in 450º oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325º and bake for 30 minutes more or until firm but not too brown.
