4TSP BAKING POWDER
2 TSP SUGAR
TSP SALT
TSP CREAM OF TARTER

Directions:
Directions:
MIX ALL ABOVE INGREDIENTS. CUT IN C SHORTENING. MIX LIKE PIE CRUST. ADD 2/3 CUP OF MILK ALL AT ONCE.
STIR DOUGH UNTIL IT FOLLOWS AROUND THE BOWL. ROLL INCH THICK. CUT OUT BISCUITS. BAKE AT 400 ON AN UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET.

The first time I made these, I left them in the oven to keep warm for Mom so when she came home from work she would have warm biscuits. Guess what they were hard as a rock and Dad gave them to the hound and he buried them. Everyone had a big laugh.
