Oklahoma Cornbread Salad Recipe

Group A ingredients:
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
1/8 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon ground oregano
Dash of sage
1 can green chilies (undrained)
Plus ingredients called for on Jiffy mix package

Group B ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 envelope Ranch dressing mix (dry)

Group C ingredients:
2 cans corn (drained)
2 cans Ranch style beans (drained)
3 tomatoes (chopped)
1 cup green onions chopped
1 green pepper chopped
2 cups cheddar cheese (grated)
Bacon Bits (optional)

Mix together the ingredients from Group A and then bake cornbread according to the package instructions.

Mix together the ingredients from Goup B and Set aside.

Next crumble cornbread and cover bottom of bowl or pan (I use a 9X13 pan). Spread dressing mixture over cornbread then layer with Group C ingredients.
