4 cups apples (sliced) I combine tart and sweet varieties
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Arrange sliced apples in a 9X9 greased baking pan. Sprinkle cinnamon over the apples along with the salt. Now pour the 1/4 cup water over the apple mixture.

For the topping, mix 3/4 cup flour, 1 cup sugar and 1/3 cup butter. Place over the apples and bake for 40 minutes.
