4 cups sweet potatoes- boiled and mashed
1/2 to 3/4 cup table sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla (key ingredient)
TOPPING:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 cup pecans
1/3 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
1- Remove skins from sweet potatoes. Mash all ingredients together except topping ingredients.
2- Place into a buttered 9X12 dish.
TOPPING:
1- Mix all ingredients together. Crumble over sweet potatoes mixture. Bake at 350 F for about 40-50 minutes. (I usually bake it 50 min.)
You can make ahead and cook later if needed.
