3 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar and milk to soft ball stage. Add dates and boil one minute longer, mash well, take from fire and add butter and nuts. Beat to creamy stage and roll in a wet towel. When cool, wrap in waxed paper and store.
