3 T. Margarine or butter; 1 lg onion chopped; 1 1/2# ground beef or chuck;cooked slightly; can peas; 1 can mushrooms (optional) 2 can tomato soup;plus 2 cans water; 2 c brown or white rice; 2-3 strips of bacon
Combine all in casserole dish, placing bacon strips on top; Bake at 350º for one hour
