1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. corn starch
1/2 t. salt
2 3/4 c. milk
4 egg yolks, beaten
2 t. oleo
1 T. vanilla
4 medium bananas
1 c. whipped topping

Soften gelatin in cold water. Combine sugar, corn starch and salt. lend in the milk and egg yolks. Cook over low heat, stir constantly, until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat; stir in softened gelatin until dissolved. Stir in butter and vanilla. Chill-slice bananas fold into custard with whipped topping. Put in pie shell. Chill 4-5 hours.
