Ingredients:
Fresh Jalapeņos
1/8 tsp Salt
Vinegar
Water
8 oz Canning Jar
Canning Lid

Directions:
Directions:
Clean the canning jar thoroughly. Please the salt in the bottom of the jar. Stuff the jar with clean jalapeņos. Fill the jar half way with vinegar. Fill the rest of the jar with water. Put the lid on and tighten. Boil the jar in a pot of water until the water in the jar starts to bubble. Remove the jar from the water and allow to cool. Canning is completed when the middle of the lid doesn't pop up and down any more.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Sliced carrots can also be added to the jar before canning. The alternative to boiling the jar is to place the jar in the microwave without the lid and bringing the water to a boil. Once that happens, take the jar out and put the lid on. Let it cool.
