1 cup sugar
1 stick butter & 1 stick margarine
1 egg
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
2 2/3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
5 1/3 teaspoons milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar. Add egg, beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, mix thoroughly. Add dry ingredients into creamed mixture together with milk. Put dough on a sheet of wax paper and form into a roll. Chill 1 hour, slice, sprinkle with sugar (white, green or red) bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
