Directions:
Cream together: 2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar

Add: 5 eggs (I add another if dough is too thick and dry)
2 tsp. vanilla
4 cups flour
5 cups oatmeal (powder in blender)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda

Mix together:
24 oz. chocolate chips
8 oz. chocolate bar, grated
2 cups walnuts, chopped

Roll into golf ball sized balls (I use a smaller sized ice cream scoop) and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees (2 apart) for 10 to 12 minutes.

Leave on tray to cool for about 5 minutes.

Personal Notes:
I adapted this recipe to my liking. It takes a bit more time but definitely worth the effort. It makes several cookies, but they freeze well.
