2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/3 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup mashed ripe bananas
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 eggs
1/2 cup minus 2 tablespoons buttermilk.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar & eggs and add dry ingredients and buttermilk. Add vanilla, mashed bananas and chopped nuts.This cake can be baked in one greased & floured 13 X 9 inch pan at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes or until done. Serve with whipped cream & garnish with sliced bananas.
