Ingredients:  
2 cup sugar,
1 cup shortening,
4 eggs,
4 to 6 large bananas,
3/4 cup buttermilk,
2 tsp. soda, ( in milk),
4 cup flour, (sift 2 times),
1 tsp salt.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients as listed. Mash bananas before adding. I usually add 1/2 cup ground nuts.
Bake 325 for 45 min.
