4 cups white vinegar
1 cup sugar
tsp alum
4 tsp mustard seed
2 sticks cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Use large cucumbers peel, take out seeds and slice. Let stand 3 h rs with 1/3 cup course salt and cover with ice (crushed).

Cook vinegar, sugar, mustard seed, alum and stick cinnamon.
Let boil up twice or more. You can add a little tumeric to the cucumbers in the hot sterilized jars. Add hot liquid and can in hot bath.
