4 cups tomato puree
1/2 tsp. salt & pepper
1 cup brown sugar
8 slices white bread (cubed)
1/3 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Bring tomatoes, salt & pepper and sugar to a boil.
Place bread cubes into 1 1/2 quart baking dish and cover with melted butter. Pour hot mixture over bread cubes. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
