For Pancakes—Lightly butter a 6 inch skillet

Melt and set aside
2 tblsp butter
Sift together into a bowl and set aside
1 cup sifted flour
¼ cup sugar
¼ tsp salt
Beat until thick and piled softly
3 eggs
Beat in the mleted butter and
1 Cup Milk


For Sauce—Melt over low heat in a saucepan.
¾ cup butter
Stir in
½ cup golden raisens
½ tsp cinnamon
Add and mix very lightly
¾ to 1 Cup sugar

For Pancakes- Lightly butter a 6 inch skillet

Combine egg mixure with dry ingredients and beat with rotary beater until smooth.

Heat skillet moderately hot. Pour in just enough batter to cover bottom. Immediately tilt skillet back and forth to spread batter thinly and evenly.

Cook over medium heat until light brown on bottom and firm to touch on top. Loosen edge with spatula. Turn and brown second side. It should be unnecessary to grease skillet for each pancake.

As each pancake is cooked, transfer to a hot platter. When all are cooked, set platter in warm oven to keep pancakes warm.


For Sauce—Melt over low heat in a saucepan.
¾ cup butter
Stir in
½ cup golden raisens
½ tsp cinnamon
Add and mix very lightly
¾ to 1 Cup sugar
Do not stir sugar too much. It should not be dissolved in the butter.

To complete Dessert—Tear pancakes iwith two forks into 1 in irregular pieces. Mix into sauce.
