1 Cup soft Butter
Granulated Sugar to coat rounds,
1/3 Cup Whipping Cream
2 Cups Flour
Filling:
¼ Cup soft butter 1 egg yolk
¾ Cup sifted confectioners sugar 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the butter, cream and flour. Chill until firm. Using 1/3 of the dough at a time, roll out to 1/8” thickness. (keep remaining dough refrigerated) Cut with 1 1/2 “ round cutter. Transfer rounds to wax paper heavily coated with the sugar, turning to coat both sides. Place on un-greased baking sheet: Prick 4 times with a fork. Bake 7-9 minutes at 375°. Cool. Put 2 rounds together with filling.

Filling:
Mix ingredients well. Tint pink or green if desired
