1 pound ground beef
1/3-1/2# Italian sausage
1 gr. Pepper, diced
1 bunch gr. Onions, sliced
1 pkg. Mushrooms, sliced
1 large can tomato paste
Parsley flakes
2 large cans tomato sauce
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 large ball garlic, pressed
1-1/2 T. Italian seasoning
t. oregano
3 T. brown sugar
red chili peppers - few or many to taste

Brown meats, drain well. Add onions, pepper and mushrooms. Cook until softened and add rest of ingredients. Simmer about 2 hours. You can add a cup of red wine or so if desired. Makes good pizza sauce.
