1 1-pound, 13-ounce can sliced peaches with juice, plus 3 tbsp water
1 cup granulated sugar, divided
1 stick butter or margarine, sliced and divided
1 8-ounce can refrigerated crescent rolls

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Place peaches, juice and water in a 2 1/2 quart rectangular baking dish. Add half the sugar and butter to peaches. Put into oven until mixture begins to bubble, 10 to 12 minutes. Open crescent rolls and spread on top of peaches. Sprinkle remaining sugar and butter on top of the dough. Return to oven and bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until top is browned. After removing from oven, push crust down into juice.
Makes 8 servings
