Make pastry cream:
1 c. whipping cream set at room temp. in glass container, add 2 T. fresh buttermilk. Stir occasionally - like every 6 hours?. It sets up like pudding. Refrigerate until ready to use to assemble salad.
I used 1-1/2- 2 qts. strawberries
6 oz. raspberries
6 oz. blackberries
Can use blueberries
Fruit rinsed, drained well
8 oz. cream cheese, beat . Add 2 T. key lime juice and 7 oz. sweetened condensed milk (I used 1/2 can)
Also need granola
Layer fruit, pastry cream, granola, cream cheese layer. Repeat.
