1 can (16 oz.) pears halved
1-3 oz. box lime Jell-O
1/4 t. salt
1 c. hot water
1 T. lemon juice
2-3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/8 t. ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Save 3/4 c. syrup. Dice pears and set aside. Dissolve Jell-O and salt in boiling water. Add pear syrup and lemon juice. Measure 1-1/4 c. into 8 x 4 loaf pan or 4 c. mold. Chill til set but not firm. Soften cheese until creamy. Very slowly blend in remaining Jell-O beating until smooth. Blend in ginger and stir in pears. Spoon over the set Jell-O in the pan. Chill 4 hours.
