1-1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts/pecans
1-1/2 c. shredded coconut
1-6 oz. and 1-3 oz. pkg. rasp. or strawberry gelatin
1-14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. water
Green food coloring
4 oz. slivered almonds
About 1/3 c. red colored sugar (see note)
About 1/4 c. green colored sugar (see note)

Directions:
In large bowl, mix nuts, coconut and gelatin powder. Add milk and vanilla and work with a wooden spoon until well mixed. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour. Pour water into a small bowl; color green with food coloring. Add almonds and mix until almonds are deep green color. Lift almonds out onto paper towel to dry. Shape chilled gelatin mixture strawberries, using about 1 tsp. for each. Roll in red sugar and dip ends in green sugar. Use the almond slivers for stems. NOTE: Either purchase colored sugar or mix 1-2 drops food coloring with granulated sugar.
