Directions:
In a mixing bowl, blend flour, both sugars and butter. Set aside 1/2 cup of this mixture. To the remainder, add buttermilk, baking soda, egg, vanilla and 1/2 cup chopped toffee bar. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Mix remaining 1/2 cup toffee bar with chopped pecans and add to the set aside mixture. Sprinkle evenly over the top of batter. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Personal Notes:
** Note: 6 oz. of toffee bars equals 1 cup of chopped candy. I buy the six-pack of one-ounce bars. To chop the candy, it helps to first put the candy bars in the freezer until they are solid. Then, unwrap the bars, put in a large zip-loc bag, place on a cutting board, and break up with a hammer.
